Memory Game...

Today is the Big Day! Release Day!!! Run check out all the new fun stuff and make sure to stop by Elizabeth's Blog...a little birdie told me there might be a Giveaway goin' on!!!
As SOON as I saw the new Elzybells Eggstravaganza and Eggstravaganza Sentiments I knew I wanted to attempt a Memory Game for my son's Easter Gift...

I cover a 4 oz Square tin with paper, added an "Easter Egg Hunt" tag and some ribbon, then to make the Memory game itself I cut more patterned paper and white CS to 2" x 2" and stamped out different eggs, matching 2 of each. I glued the CS to the PP and then rounded the edges and added some little flowers to the corners...they fit nicely inside the tin and Connor can carry it with him to Grandma's house to play with his cousin!

Supplies:
Stamps: Eggstravaganza and Eggstravaganza Sentiments (Elzybells)
Paper: Tiptoe thru the Tulips (Imaginisce,) White Papertrey CS
Ink: Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, So Saffron (SU)

Man Cards and an Elzybells Promo...
Strange mix of topics, right??? :)
First, I needed a birthday card for my Dad, who is a "Car Guy," he currently has a Rat Rod project with my brother, a 1939 Dodge Truck redo and is tinkering with his Harley. I knew as soon as I saw the Home plate from Artistic Outpost the truck in the set was Perfect for my Dad!
A friend reminded me recently that we, a scard makers, should really make 2 of each card when we have our supplies out...so I am going to try to do this, saves so much energy! I can never make 2 Identical cards, but using the stuff you have out to make multiple cards is a great idea!
My first card I used a piece of a Fabriano card I had messed up and did a Misting technique, I inked the stamp, then misted it with water before stamping it on the paper...

A Manly inside treatment...

And the second card of the set...for this one I stamped directly on the Fabriano paper and then went over it a little with a damp Aquapainter...

Supplies:
Stamps: Home (Artistic Outpost,) Birthday Centers (CHF)
Paper: Granola (Basic Grey,) Fabriano Mediovalis, Textured Brown and Blue Cards (DCWV)
Ink: Vintage Violet, Blue Bayou (SU)
Misc: Twill Ribbon, Top Note Die, Glazed Brads, Copper Brads
On an other subject....Make sure to Check Out
Elizabeth's Blog for an Elzybells Weekend Promo!!!

Cupcake Carrier...
The poet and the politician have this in common: their greatness depends on the courage with which they face the challenges of life. -John F. Kennedy
This week's Blogger's Challenge was to make a Valentine...I had made some Mini cupcakes for my son's 1/2 Birthday and it gave me the perfect opportunity to try out something I had been thinking about for weeks. My friend Debbie recently mailed me a Martha Stewart Treat box with a challenge to decorate it. As soon as I saw the for individual scalloped boxes I wondered if I could turn them upside down and make a little cupcake box.
I embossed some Pretty in Pink CS with the Swiss Dots CB folder, cut them to 3x3 and then using a small scalloped Nestibilities Die, cut a hole in the center. I attached them to the bottom side of the 4 cups and then cut a hole in each cup. I just added Sticky gems to the corners of each of the little cupcake nests, as well as all around the edges of the larger box. I added a ribbon tied in a bow and then punched tags from Red and pink paper, stamped an A Muse sentiment and embellished it with an Inkadinkado heart and I was done...all it needed was the cupcakes!

Supplies:Stamps: Hearts (Inka,) Sweetest (A Muse)
Ink: Basic Black, Cat's Eye Queue Liquid Chalk
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Red Textured CS
Misc: Sticky Gems, Ribbon, Tag Punches, MS Crafts Box, Circle Nesties
