Now on to my project...

I have had this pumpkin blank for over a year now and tHought it was time to play around with it...the shape is not the traditional short, fat pumpkin I am used to, so I had a hard time making it look Pumpkin-ish. I think I like how it turned out in the end, though! It is covered with Eerie papers, Martha Stewart Halloween ribbon, LOTS of glitter and Zva Crystal Swirls...the crow image is a fun $1.99 stamp from Inkadinkado. I added a little strip of the paper punched with the Drippy Goo punch and I added a bit more sparkle by outlining it with a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll Pen.

The little Test Tube is a simple gift to make, I just wrapped a small strip of patterned paper and ribbon around it and filled it with goodies! M&Ms or Reese's Pieces would work great for a child, but mine is filled with Dew Drops for a fellow crafter! :)

The card is again, pretty simple, just a Kraft CS base embossed with the Spiderweb Cuttlebug folder, then a strip of Eerie paper and a black glitter spider sticker I picked up last year after Halloween. The crystal shape is from TPC Studios.

Now on to the Sweeties to see what Spooky things they have created!!! You've started here, now you'll move on to Tammy, you can always come back here if you get lost in the Hop for the master schedule:

ETA: Sorry about the missed links and scrambled word....I fixed my master list!!!!

Tammy (Stamp Happy)
Jessica (Shamrocks and Seashells)
Carolina (Carolina's Creative Pad)
Kelli (Yard Sale Kind of Luck)
Colleen (Glitter Ink)
Michelle (Stop and Stamp the Roses)
Natalie (dougnat diaries)
Bonnie (The Lucky Clucker)

Don't forget to collect the Secret Letters along the way to spell the Promo Code for 25% off Everything in the Store!!! (email me at hopestampseternal@hotmail.com if you have trouble with the code)

Happy Fall Y'all...

Spider, spider dreaming night, In the webbing of delight -Brian Okabayashi
Hello and welcome to Autumn!!! This is my Favorite time of year...I love the cooler weather, beautiful colors, wearing long sleeves and boot...Football!! Pumpkins, Halloween...I just LOVE Fall!!!

I whipped up a super fast card last night with some scraps that were laying on my desk...there are lots of scraps as I am working on some fun stuff for Thursday! (Big Halloween Blog Hop with the Sweeties, make sure to come back for that....lots of good stuff!!!)

The card is pretty straight forward, Textured card base, Eerie paper strips and some yummy sticky back spider ribbon. The Tag is a stamp from my Unity Kit Everythings Simply Tiny, I stamped it on the back side of the paper and then cut around it. The sentiment and spider webs are both some older Mike's $1 stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #25...

To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring. -George Santayana

Hello! Time for another Cupcake Inspiration Challenge! This week I am focusing on Fall...Football has started and the air is just starting to get a little crisp in the mornings here in Boise and it makes me excited for Pumpkin Pie, cool air and all the colors of Fall! This week's Cupcakes come to us from Happiness in a Bite via Flickr...aren't they Pretty?!?!

I have lots of Leaf stamps and pretty Autumn paper, I'm sure I even have an acorn somewhere, but I have been Dying to ink up the new Savannah from The Greeting Farm, so I decided to play with the colors more than the theme...

I colored her with Copics and then added lots of sparkle with my normal
Stardust Stickles, then added some Liquid Pearl dots along some of the details on her dress and feather. I suppose she is a Can Can dancer, but when I first saw her I thought of Southern Ladies back in the Civil War Era, hanging out on the big wrap around porches trying to stay cool in the Southern heat and humidity!

The layout is this week's Eat Sleep Stamp Bonus Sketch (turned to vertical,) make sure to play along so we can get 52 participants and get a chance at a $52 Prize!!! It also works for this week's Anyone for Anya Challenge (Funky Flowers) and the Basic Grey Challenge (Embossing.) I used Indian Summer papers and the new Fleur De Lis CB folder, plus some new pearl swirls and felt flowers from Zva, the yummy ribbon is from PTI. I added sentiment from Verve on the inside, plus more paper and another felt flower, this one prettied up with a little Prima Crystal Center...

Supplies:
Stamps: WS Savannah (The Greeting Farm,) Beautiful You (Verve)
Paper: Indian Summer (Basic Grey,) Kraft, White, Pumpkin Pie and Pure Poppy CS
Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento,) Copic Markers, Ruby Red (For sponging)
Misc:Pearl Swirl, Pearls, Felt Flowers, Stickles, CB Folder, Grosgrain Ribbon, Liquid Pearls

Here is a peek at some of the Sweetie's creations, make sure to check out all the of the Gorgeous cards they made this week!!

We would love to have you play along this week! Make sure to add a direct link to your creation on Mr Linky below by Saturday, Sept 26th at 9 pm MT. If you upload to a public gallery like SCS or PCP make sure to use keyword CIC25 so we can easily find you. Remember, no cupcake stamps are required! I will post the Top 5 next Sunday!

Thanks on the Fly...

Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains. -Henry David Thoreau
Good Morning, it has been days since I posted a new project, sorry about that, I have been reading...I finish The Kite Runner (LOVED it! I was Bawling so hard on the last page that I almost couldn't see the words...in a good way though!) Then I read a really quick lighthearted Evanovich novel and now I am reading a fun Sci-Fi/Fantasy book.

I needed to get busy and make a special order Man card, so I put the book down last night and whipped up this fun Fly Fishing Thank You card. (Thanks Linds for letting me borrow your set!!!)

I stamped the image on Kraft Cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento ink, then wrinked it up, distressed the edges and sponged on more ink, mounted that on some distressed Dark Chocolate cs. The base is more Kraft Cardstock with some fly images stamped randomly...the edges are also sponged with more ink. The twill is just simply knotted to keep the card as masculine as possible. The image is popped up on Adhesive Foam Dots. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

I just added a simple fish to the inside for lots of writing room...Supplies:
Stamps: Fly Fishing (SU,) Everyday Greetings (
Inkadinkado)
Paper: Kraft & Dark Chocolate Cardstock
Ink:
Rich Cocoa (Memento)
Misc:
Brown Twill, Adhesive Foam Dots
